Made from an endoskeleton of structural walls, glass and solar sheets to accommodate the needs of the farm, the unusual shape of the building facilitates the shifting of strong winds that are used to run a micro wind power system that is concealed beneath the roofing.
Aptly named ‘Urban Nest’, the structure is an experiential and didactic experience in both art and the future of urban living, where buildings are self-sustaining and evolve with the changing environment, becoming a permanent and attractive art installation in itself.
