stresa – seat
prototype

Bellagio, Stresa and Arona. A collection of seats, citing some design classics, coherently interpreting the spirit of the material (sheet metal) and the immaterial.
The concept for the furniture was to fulfill different needs: marketability via the web, production on demand, prevalent use of painted sheet metal (as the principal material) and respect for that very special tradition of Italian design. The brief spawned several items of seating named after different towns on Lake Maggiore. Stresa seat (40 x 53 x h 86 cm) is a “double” chair that echoes the classic cantilever; its force is calibrated on the point of contact of the two sheets of metal.

materials: painted or mirror finish sheet metal.
dimensions: 57 cm x 45 cm x h 85 cm
